Abstract

Nature reserves play a significant role in developing ecotourism and promoting sustainable development by protecting natural resources, conserving biodiversity, and providing opportunities for responsible tourism. This study examines the role of nature reserves in developing ecotourism and enhancing environmental, economic, and social sustainability. It highlights the contribution of nature reserves to environmental conservation, local community development, and raising environmental awareness among visitors. The study also explores the main challenges facing ecotourism in nature reserves, including environmental degradation, inadequate infrastructure, and the lack of effective management strategies. The findings emphasize the importance of adopting sustainable tourism practices, strengthening cooperation between local communities and relevant authorities, and developing effective management policies to ensure the long-term sustainability of nature reserves and ecotourism.
