Abstract

This paper present comprehensive analysis business model reverse logistics in context floating market in Malaysia, new sector closed traditional trade with sustainable supply chain practices. Through this systematic results literature on circular economy, framework reverse logistics and innovation business model in develop countries, this research develops methodologies framework to analyse reverse logistics floating market. This study identifies three keys model archetypes were collection and recycling waste, return and modification product and sharing circular sources and evaluate usability in context socio-economic and geographic unique Malaysia. The comparison analysis present key opportunities to integration digital technologies, collaborative stakeholders and sustainability practices to enhance efficiency supply chain while tackling challenges environment. This research highlights successful factors critical include support government regulation, technologies infrastructure and communities involvement. This studies also identifies key limitations include inadequate infrastructure management waste, fragmented supply chain and awareness stakeholders limited. These findings contribute to enhance literature about sustainable business models in development economies and give insights can take actions to policymakers, entrepreneurs, and practitioner supply chain in implementation reverse logistics in reverse logistics traditional market target. Future research directions include validation empirical framework suggestions, systems traceability block-chain and intelligence applications to prediction needed and waste optimization.
